This program offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the diverse world of beauty marketing, allowing you to gain experience across different facets of our business.
In the Consumer Products Division (CPD), you’ll be instrumental in crafting and executing mass-market campaigns, driving rapid product innovation, and managing high-volume promotions. The focus here is on building widespread brand awareness for our widely accessible everyday consumer products, such as L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline, Garnier and 3CE. Your work in CPD will aim for extensive reach and impressive mass sales, ensuring our beloved brands are a staple in every household.
Conversely, in L’Oréal Luxe (LLD), your role will shift towards cultivating a prestigious brand image and delivering an exclusive or highly targeted consumer experience. This involves highlighting product quality and scientific innovation in all communications for iconic brands like Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, Giorgio Armani Beauty, it Cosmetics and Kiehl’s. Marketing strategies in this division are typically more refined and personalized, often emphasizing a luxurious experience, unique formulations, or an elevated brand narrative. The objective here is to build profound brand loyalty and cater to discerning consumers who prioritize efficacy, brand heritage, and an exclusive beauty experience.
Who are we looking for?
A graduating Bachelor/Master’s Degree student or a graduate with less than two-year work experience.
Proficient in English & exhibits high potential in leadership and management
GPA minimum 3.00 or equivalent
Adventurous, driven with entrepreneurial spirit; a creative problem solver with an open mind
Has strong business acumen; excellent in analytics and numbers
Willing to undergo program rotation outside of Jakarta
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

This program offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the diverse commercial landscapes of our divisions:
Commercial in the Consumer Products Division (CPD): In CPD, commercial roles are all about mastering mass retail channels. You’ll be instrumental in negotiating product placement, optimizing shelf presence, and developing promotional strategies within supermarkets, hypermarkets, and drugstores. This involves deep dives into sales analytics, understanding consumer purchasing behaviors at scale, managing trade marketing budgets, and building strong relationships with key retail partners to drive high-volume sales for brands like L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline, Garnier, and 3CE. The goal is maximum accessibility and market share.
Commercial in the Professional Products Division (PPD): For PPD, commercial efforts are centered on the B2B market, specifically professional salons. Your responsibilities would include managing sales accounts with salons, implementing professional education programs, ensuring product availability through specialized distribution networks, and fostering long-term relationships with salon owners and stylists. This segment requires a strong understanding of professional needs, product performance in a salon setting, and the unique dynamics of the B2B beauty industry for brands like Kérastase, L’Oréal Professionnel, Biolage and Matrix.
Commercial in L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty (LDB): Commercial roles within LDB focus on specialized distribution channels such as drugstores, pharmacies, derma-clinics, and healthcare professional networks. You’d be involved in building relationships with pharmacists and dermatologists, providing product education, and developing targeted sales strategies that emphasize the scientific efficacy and benefits of brands like La Roche-Posay and CeraVe.
